EU-Report Accession Bulgaria
As indicated, the following review of Bulgaria's ability to assume the
obligations of membership has been structured in accordance with the list of 29 negotiating
chapters. Accordingly, this section opens with an assessment of progress relating to the
cornerstones of the internal market which are known as the ``four freedoms'', and
continues with a systematic review of progress on each of the chapters, covering all aspects of
the acquis, including sectoral policies, economic and fiscal affairs, regional policy,
environment, justice and home affairs, external policies, and financial questions.
