§ 71. Liability of undertaking
- (1)

Upon failure to submit information prescribed by law or upon submission of false information to the registrar, a person who is competent to make a judgment on entry may impose a fine of up to 400 days wages on the obligated persons.

- Payment of a fine shall not exempt a person from performance of an obligation.

If an obligation is not performed after imposition of a fine, a person who is competent to make a judgment on entry may impose a new fine.

A person on whom a fine is imposed may, within five days after receipt of a copy of the judgment imposing the fine, apply for release from the fine or for a reduction of the fine, pursuant to the procedure provided for in the Code of Civil Procedure. Applications shall be reviewed by a judge.

A person on whom a fine is imposed shall promptly submit proof of payment of the fine after payment of the fine.

§ 72. Liability of registrar
Damage caused by an unlawful action of a registrar shall be compensated for by the state.
