Commission Report (2002): Poland
Progress has been made towards the reinforcement of the administrative
structures for the co-ordination of social security systems asset out in the
Action Plan. With respect to the alignment of mutual recognition of
professional qualifications and diplomas progress is in line with the
elements included in the Action Plan. Some initial measures have been
introduced to ensure that all Poland's professionals can, from accession,
meet the requirements laid down by the directives. Overall, the Accession
Partnership priorities in the area of free movement of persons have been
partially met. Implementation of the measures under the Action Plan is
largely on track.
