Commission Report 2002 (Romania)
Accession negotiations
were opened with Romania in February 2000, and by September 2002 negotiations
on 27 chapters had been launched while the following 13 chapters had been
provisionally closed: Company Law, Fisheries, Economic and Monetary Union,
Statistics, Social Policy and Employment, Industrial Policy, Small and
Medium-sized Enterprises, Science and Research, Education and Training,
Consumers and Health Protection, External Relations, Common Foreign and
Security Policy, Institutions.
