Commission Report 2002 (Slovakia)
Slovakia has continued to inform the European Union of negotiations aimed
at the conclusion of new trade agreements with third countries. However,
Slovakia needs to make further efforts to take the necessary measures to
renegotiate or renounce all international agreements and treaties, including
bilateral investment treaties, concluded with third countries that are
incompatible with its future obligations as a EU Member State. Overall, this
Accession Partnership priority has been partially met.
