Decree of NBS on Submission of Information by Banks and Branches of Foreign Banks to the NBS(Notification of NBS No. 213/2001 Coll. on issue of the Decree on Submission of Information by Banks and Branches of Foreign Banks to the National Bank of Slovakia) This decree stipulates the content, form, classification, dates and method of submission of information by banks and branches of foreign banks to NBS. A bank submits information to NBS, which are stated in the report on (i) its capital and reserves, (ii) capital adequacy, (iii) classification of receivables and obligations, (iv) liquidity indicators, (v) concentrations of assets, (vi) unsecured exchange positions, (vii) delays in respect of payment of receivables. A branch of foreign bank submits information to NBS, which are stated in the report on (i) classification of receivables and obligations, (ii) liquidity indicators, (iii) delays in respect of the payment of receivables. At the same time, the decree states time periods, within which the bank or branch of foreign bank is obliged to prepare the respective report, and specimens of individual reports are contained in exhibits of this decree. The Decree of NBS No. 6/2000 dated 14 February 2000 and Sec. 22 of the Decree of NBS No. 3/1995 on rules for evaluation of receivables and off-balance sheet liabilities of banks according to risks contained therein and for creation of resources for covering such risks are hereby cancelled. This decree is in force from 20 June 2001. |
