Announcement of the National Bank of Slovakia No. 589/2001 Coll. on issue of the Decree of NBS stipulating the prerequisites of an application for granting a banking licence for a bank
This Decree of the NBS No. 12/2001 stipulates prerequisites of an application for granting a banking license for a bank, including prerequisites of an application of a bank being a construction saving institution and performs construction saving under the Act on Construction Saving, and prerequisites of an application of a bank which performs mortgage transactions. This Decree also regulates documents that are to be attached to the application for granting a banking license for a bank, details on conditions for granting of such a banking license and the manner of evidencing of fulfilment of these conditions as well as the manner of evidencing of fulfilment of obligations prior commencement of banking activities.
This Decree repeals the Decree of the NBS No. 5/2001 stipulating prerequisites of an application for grating a license to act as a bank, the minimum amount of the financial contribution to the registered capital of the bank and the manner of evidencing the fulfilment of conditions on which the license to act as a bank is based.
This Decree is in force from 1 January 2002.
