Decree Stipulating the Terms of the Notification of Concentration

Decree of the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic No. 268/2004 Coll. stipulating the terms of the notification of concentration

Pursuant to Act No. 136/2001 Coll. on Protection of Economic Competition, as amended (the ``Act''), the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic, restated the scope of information and which has to be provided in the notification of concentration. The notification of concentration must contain information and data on undertakings concerned, description of the concentration, information on capital, financial and personal links, information on affected markets, entry to the market, cooperation agreements, commercial associations, general market information, information on cooperative effects of a joint venture, reasons and effects of the concentration as well as their impact on competition and documents stipulated in the decree.

Pursuant to the Act, the Office is entitled, upon reasonable request of the parties, to reduce the scope of required information.

The decree repealed the former decree of the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic No. 168/2001 Coll. stipulating the terms of the notification of concentration, as amended by Decree No. 585/2002 Coll.

This Decree came into force on 1 May 2004.
