NOTIFICATION OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC ON CHANGE OF COMPETENT AUTHORITIES UNDER THE HAGUE CONVENTION ON ABOLISHING THE REQUIREMENT OF LEGALISATION FOR FOREIGN PUBLIC DOCUMENTS(Notification of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic No. 74/2003 Coll. on change of authorities competent under Article 6 of the Convention on Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents) By this notification, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic notified that Andorra and Norway informed under Article 6 of the Convention on Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents of new authorities which are competent to issue certificates (apostille) certifying the authenticity of the signature, the capacity in which the person signing the document has acted, the identity of the seal or stamp which the document bears. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic also informed that also Monaco became the contracting party to the Convention on Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents from 31 December 2002.
