Decree on Professional Examination of Insurance Broker, Insurance Agent and Actuary

Decree of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic No. 144/2002 Coll. on Professional Examination of Insurance Broker, Insurance Agent and Actuary and on Fees for its Performance

In this Decree, the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic has stipulated the content of professional examination of insurance brokers and insurance agents, who perform mediation of insurance for more than one insurance company.

At the same time, this Decree states the content of professional examination of actuary.

The professional examinations of insurance brokers and insurance agents, who perform mediation of insurance for more than one insurance company and the professional examination of the actuary consist of written and oral examination.

The above mentioned examinations take place at least once a calendar year and are procured by the Office for Financial Market or a person entrusted by it.

The fee for performance of the professional examinations amounts to SKK 5,000.

This Decree came into force on 1 April 2002.
