Amendment to Act on Slovak Chamber of Small Traders

Act No. 284/2002 Coll. amending and supplementing the Act No. 126/1998 Coll. on the Slovak Chamber of Small Traders, and amending and supplementing certain other acts, as amended

The Amendment to the this Act newly regulated the activities of the Slovak Chamber of Small Traders, membership in the Slovak Chamber of Small Traders, as well as certain issues related to funding of the Slovak Chamber of Small Traders.

Under the temporary provisions, the Slovak Chamber of Small Traders is obliged to harmonise its Statute, Rules of Elections and Standing Order with provisions of this Act not later than 31 December 2002.

In connection with the Amendment to the Act on the Slovak Chamber of Small Traders, also Act No. 455/1991 Coll. on Small Trades (Trade Licensing Act), as amended, has been changed and supplemented particularly with respect to stipulating conditions for a special professional qualification and in connection with a new Act on Residence of Foreigners.

At the same time, Act No. 128/2002 Coll. on State Control of Internal Market in Matters of Consumer Protection has been amended and supplemented by this Act.

This Act came into force on 1 July 2002.
