Commission Report (2002): Czech Republic
Since the opening of
accession negotiations, substantive discussions on the individual chapters of
the acquis have started, and by June 2002, negotiations on all chapters
(except Chapter 31 -- Other) had been launched.
By the end of June 2002, the following 25 chapters had been provisionally
closed: science and research, education and training, small and medium-sized
enterprises, statistics, industrial policy, telecommunications, fisheries,
consumer protection, free movement of goods, customs union, external
relations, common foreign and security policy, EMU, free movement of
services, company law, social policy and employment, environment, free
movement of capital, culture and audio-visual policy, free movement of
persons, financial control, taxation, energy, justice and home affairs, and
regional policy.
