Commission Report (2002): Czech Republic
The quality and coverage of statistics has been further improved while
efforts are being made in order to strengthen statistical capacities,
including at regional level. However, as foreseen in the Action Plan, further
efforts are necessary in order to increase the capacities of the business
register department and ensure the introduction of INTRASTAT at the end of
2003. The Accession Partnership priorities in the area of statistics have
been met to a large extent. Implementation of the measures under the Action
Plan is on track.
